Hippies love Halloween....

So while I wait to see if I get some Shoopman grand halloween pictures, I will entertain you with the pictures from my hubby's Halloween adventure!

Since handsome hubby has been unemployed for a month now, he is taking anything that comes along that offers a little money and is still legal. So....he agreed to go to California to be mounted security for a 3-day concert. Little did he know he would be clicking his red shoes together desperately wishing himself back home! The concert turned out to be THE PHISH Halloween 3-day Concert in Indio, CA.

The venue was beautiful. A huge polo field. You can see the stage in the distance.

And then......they came from miles around.....

Hubby was mostly in charge of keeping the fire lanes clear, directing party-goers to where they needed to be, and just keeping an eye on things. He firmed up some muscles spending 12 hour shifts in the saddle!

A weekend of pot, Frisbee, pot, breakfast burritos, pot, and strange and freakish costumes! Hubby is convinced he is going to have to air his saddle and pad out for MONTHS to get all the pot smell out of it!! I'm thinking both he and 'Chief' may need some therapy!
