Wow...it's really been 30 years! The time has flown by! We married very young (17 & 18) and sort of 'grew up' together. I like to tell Blaine that he married me young enough to raise me any way he wanted, so he should have done a better job! :-)
Sorry I don't have all the 'old' pictures, but that would involve finding them, scanning them, and posting them. Take my word for it, they exist and they are fun and maybe...just maybe, by the time the 31st comes around I will have them scanned in and ready to share!
It has been a great ride! We started out young and full of adventures and ideas. We had three great kids right off the bat! In fact, we were in such a hurry, we had one before we got married! We used to say we were young enough to grow up with our kids, and in a way, we did. We did a lot of learning together, had a lot of fun together and got through a ton of roller coasters together!
I am amazed at the man I married. Don't get me wrong... it's not all fun and roses at our house. I still pick up his empty dishes and put them in the dishwasher and wonder, "WHY can't he take the two seconds to put them in the dishwasher...for heavens sake, it's right next to the sink?" Like last night, I was loading the dishwasher...I repeat...LOADING the dishwasher. Had the rack out, putting dishes in...and he comes up and stands there handing me his plate! What?! You can't bend over and put the plate in the dishwasher?? Oy vay! Oh well.... I'm just thankful he even brought his plate to me. Usually he just leaves it on the table. Don't sweat the small stuff!

I wish he would stay up late with me and watch sitcoms on tv like we used to do instead of watching wrestling or horse shows or basketball and going to bed at 8:00. I know, I know...he has to get up early... blah blah blah.... Although, I do enjoy him getting up early on a Saturday morning and doing his chores while I sleep in and be lazy! All in all, he's a pretty awesome guy and I'm glad he's put up with me for 30 years!

I can't believe it has been 30 years! So much has happened... Three awesome kids, FIVE of the cutest grandkids ever sent to earth, at least 5 different jobs, probably more than 5 different homes, many different cars and trucks, lots of vacations, the challenge of three teenagers at the same time, single parenthood (during the week with him only home on weekends for several years), ups and downs! Through it all I have almost always been able to be a stay at home mom (with a few jobs to help out now and then!) Blaine has always put the kids and I first. I am so thankful to be blessed with the family I have!

Our three awesome kids!

It's been a great adventure and I'm glad I get to spend eternity with him!
